YOU, MY INHALER
The sunrise is my inhaler
Before I knew I couldn’t breathe
And now an hour later
My lungs drink the light easy, as if it were not the lifeblood of every second of me
Life rose on my labor
Like a power I used to be
And ever since that Remember Though the light now is an hour long my neighbor Though the magic of the morning bird now sings echoes only on this, my paper
I steal a pause at the peak and the memory turns December
We met then in sunny weather
And now again the new inhaler
Is the bouncing love of he.
