Adolescent Question

And the lightning could see for your closed eyes,

And the rain from your clouded globes could carry you through the streets,

And the thunder of your full heart throw you in its blind, tired trust,

And the mist could cover your roaming panics.

When is self-reliance denial?

When is acceptance blind?

And if time would take me before my sun unveils, what brave soul would adopt my questions?

And the step could be warm,

And the wind could blow the sun's beams onto your back,

And your shoulders lift in a breath of clear light,

And you could almost fly.
