Hymn No. 572
And did you ask them for their story?
Did they dance for chance at glory?
To tell their double story of their wandering, waddling way?
Did you leave them to their cooing?
Did you watch them at their wooing?
As they shuffled, mumbled cooing to the souls who heard that day?
Did you feel their fluffy feathers
In the symbolizing tethers
Of your mindful forging feathers and could you pass it on my way?
We, we think in shape shifting,
And we, we live for yes-saying,
And we will shift these shoulders into winged birds who pray.
